On 6 August 2015 Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) Charged trainer Mrs Jodie Lord under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:
That you, licenced trainer, Mrs Jodie Lord, did present the greyhound Omega Deacon (Greyhound) at Bulli on 1 April 2015 for the purposes of competing in Race 4, the Aus-Pump Concrete Services Stakes 5th grade, 400 metres (Event), other than free of any prohibited substances, in that the urine sample taken from the greyhound after the race was found upon confirmatory analysis to have contained the prohibited substance methylprednisolone. (Charge).
Following Mrs Lord’s early guilty plea to the Charge, GRNSW Stewards have determined to impose a fine of $1,250. A copy of the decision of GRNSW can be found here.
Mrs Lord has been notified of her rights of appeal.
