On 31 March 2016 Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) Charged trainer Mrs Mary Olling under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:
That you, Mary Olling, a registered public trainer, while in Charge">Charge of the greyhound ‘Simply Wrecked’ at Richmond on 18 November 2015, presented the Greyhound for the purpose of competing in Race 7 (Race) in circumstances where the Greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance (Charge">Charge).
The prohibited substance was caffeine and its metabolites.
Following Mrs Olling’s early guilty plea to the Charge, GRNSW Stewards have determined to impose a penalty of 20 weeks disqualification. A copy of the decision of GRNSW can be found here.
Mrs Olling has been notified of her rights of appeal.
