Hello I'm Leo Ready To Roar Again

By Stuart Turner

Hello I’m Leo can underline his current status as one of the country’s in-form greyhounds with another victory at tonight's Cannington meeting.

The son of Magic Sprite and Typhoon Monelli jumps from box eight in the Fast Fun Affordable Stakes (race 12, 380m) aiming for a seventh consecutive victory.

Hello I’m Leo shifts to the outside box for this race having scored back-to-back victories from box one in his last two starts which have extended his overall career record to seven wins and nine minor placings from 16 starts.

Ben Maclean's greyhound has won twice over the 405m and looks capable of winning this.

In other Cannington action, Katsuro Sahara (box two) looks capable of saluting in a quality night’s opening race over the 520m.

Last week’s Group 1 Perth Cup finalist has run well at Cannington since its re-opening, scoring a win and two placings prior to last week’s sixth place in the cup.

He has won seven times from 14 starts wearing the checks and is capable of winning this.

Party Hotshot (box four) has demonstrated his strong motor over the 520m recently and can score a win in race two over the 600m.

The Ben Abercrombie-trained greyhound is a classy performer at best,  has won both his races over the 647m and can overcome the tricky draw to win this week.

Dubliner (box one) has won three of her last five starts and has stepped up well to the 600m at Cannington in recent weeks, so looks the pick in race four.

Ramifications (box five) finished narrowly outside the placings in last week’s Perth Cup in race seven  but can return to winning ways in race seven over the 520m.

The impressive newcomer had won five consecutive races before last week, including three sub-30 second efforts in a row, and looks the best here.

Winsome Jacko (race six) and Monaro Monelli in race nine have both been racing well recently and look capable of saluting.

Former NSW star and Maitland track record holder Winsome Jacko (box four) has been a solid performer since transferring west and looks a good chance over this 600m race.

He has stepped up to the middle distances impressively in recent weeks, scoring four wins and two minor placings in his last seven starts.

This is a first start from box four for Monaro Monelli but he has won two of his previous three outings, including a smart 30.15 win at Cannington two starts back.
