On 11 September 2015, Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) announced that it had commenced an inquiry into the presence of pentobarbitone in the sample taken from Sunny Mulwee after it won race 9 at Muswellbrook on 19 April 2015.
Sunny Mulwee's trainer Alex Verhagen has been directed to attend a hearing as part of the inquiry. The details of that hearing are:
