By GRNSW

Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) advises that it has received notification from the Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory of the presence of caffeine, theophylline, paraxanthine and theobromine in the sample taken from Simply Wrecked after it won race 7 at the Richmond meeting on 18 November 2015.

The reserve portion of the sample was sent to Racing Analytical Services (VIC) and has yet to be confirmed to contain the prohibited substance. Simply Wrecked's trainer Mary Olling has been advised of the irregularity.

As the prohibited substance detected is a Category 4 substance under the GRNSW’s penalty guidelines the matter will be dealt with having regard to the protocols established under the guidelines.
