Stewards Alert - Channing

By GRNSW

Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) Stewards advise that the incapacitation period issued to the greyhound Channing has been reduced following a veterinarian examination.

Channing was scratched from race one at Wentworth Park on 16 January 2016 due to a shoulder injury and was subsequently issued with a 10-day incapacitation certificate.

The period of the incapacitation certificate was reduced following an examination by GRNSW Veterinarian Dr Paul Rowland today who declared the greyhound fit to compete.

The reduction means Channing will be able to compete in the heats of the National Derby at Wentworth Park this Saturday (23 Janaury 2016).
