Greyhound Racing NSW Stewards on Thursday 14 January 2016 resumed the inquiry into the presence of caffeine and its metabolites in the samples taken from the following greyhounds:
• Suzie Cargo at the Bathurst meeting on 8 June 2015
• Betsie Cargo at the Bathurst meeting on 22 June 2015
• Uniting Cargo at the Bathurst meeting on 6 July 2015
• Uniting Cargo at the Wentworth Park meeting on 15 July 2015
• Musical Cargo at the Bathurst meeting on 3 August 2015
• Musical Cargo at the Bathurst meeting on 24 August 2015
After directing the trainer of the four greyhounds, Ron Steel, to attend a hearing, the inquiry was adjourned to allow for Mr Steel to seek legal representation.
The inquiry will resume at 12pm on Wednesday 17 February 2016 at Richmond Race Club.AS
