GRNSW Announces Penalty Against Anthony Bragg

On 15 September 2015, Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) advised that it had received confirmation of the presence of the prohibited substance 6alpha-hydroxystanozolol in a sample taken from Time No Money After it won race 1 at Wentworth Park on 15 June 2015.

On 28 September 2015, GRNSW advised that it had received confirmation of the presence of the prohibited substance 6alpha-hydroxystanozolol in a sample taken from Time For Money After it won race 7 at Richmond on 1 August 2015.   

At a hearing on 17 November 2015, Time For Money's trainer Anthony Bragg entered a plea of guilty to two charges for offences under the Rule 83 (2) (a) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules.

After affording Mr Bragg an opportunity to make submissions on the penalty or penalties to be applied as a result of the offences, Stewards determined that the following penalties shall be imposed:

• Two periods of four month disqualification, to be served concurrently

• $1000 fine
