On 4 August 2015, Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) advised that it had received confirmation of the presence of the prohibited substance caffeine and theobromine in a sample taken from the greyhound Kingsbrae County.
GRNSW also advised that Kingsbrae County's trainer Paul Gallagher had been given the opportunity to enter a plea of guilty to a charge of presenting a greyhound other than free of a prohibited substance in breach of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules.
Mr Gallagher informed GRNSW that he decided to enter a plea of guilty to the charge.
After consideration of Mr Gallagher's submissions, GRNSW Stewards have determined that the following penalty should be imposed:
• 10 week suspension of his license.
A copy of the decision of GRNSW about the penalty imposed can be found here.
Mr Gallagher has been notified of his rights of appeal.
