On 2 December 2014, Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) announced that it was conducting an inquiry into alleged offences under the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules (Rules) as part of an inquiry.
Trainer Peter Lagogiane pleaded guilty of an offence under Rule 83 (2) (a) of the Rules.
After affording Mr Lagogiane an opportunity to make submissions on the penalty to be imposed as a result of the offences, GRNSW Stewards have determined that the following penalties should be imposed:
• A period of disqualification of 16 weeks commencing 24 September 2015

Mr Lagogiane was afforded the right to lodge an appeal against the decision of the Stewards, however declined this option.
