On 10 September 2015, Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) announced that it was conducting an inquiry into alleged offences under the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules (Rules) as part of an inquiry.
On 15 September 2015, trainer Ray Stevenson pleaded guilty of an offence under Rule 83 (2) (a) of the Rules.
After affording Mr Stevenson an opportunity to make submissions on the penalty to be imposed as a result of the offences, GRNSW Stewards have determined that the following penalties should be imposed:
• A period of disqualification for six months

Mr Stevenson was afforded the right to lodge an appeal against the decision of the Stewards, however, declined this option.
