Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) advises that it has received notification from the Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory of the presence of 6alpha-hydroxtstanozolol in the sample taken from Time For Money after it won the Phil Davis Memorial Heat 3 Sprint Series Heat at the Richmond meeting on 1 August 2015.
The reserve portion of the sample was sent to Racing Science Centre (QLD) and has been confirmed to contain the prohibited substance. Time For Money's trainer Anthony Bragg has been advised of the irregularity.
As the prohibited substance detected is a Category 3 substance under the GRNSW’s penalty guidelines the matter will be dealt with by way of an Inquiry before GRNSW Stewards.
A date for the Inquiry has yet to be set.
