GRNSW Announces Uniting Cargo Inquiry

Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) advises that is has received notification from the Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory of the presence of Caffeine, Theobromine and Theophylline in the sample taken from Uniting Cargo after it won the Bathurst to Wenty Heat at the Bathurst meeting on 6 July 2015.

Uniting Cargo's trainer Ronald Steel has been advised of the irregularity, and the reserve portion of the sample has been forwarded to another accredited laboratory for confirmatory analysis. Mr Steel has been notified of the irregularity.

GRNSW will provide further details once the result of the confirmatory analysis of the sample has been completed.
