GRNSW Announces Sunny Mulwee Inquiry

By GRNSW

Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) advises that it has received notification from the Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory of the presence of Pentobarbitone in the sample taken from Sunny Mulwee after it won the Katherine Gray 1-5 Wins Heat at the Muswellbrook meeting on 19 April 2015.

The reserve portion of the sample was sent to Racing Analytical Services (VIC) and has been confirmed to contain the prohibited substance. Pentobarbitone has also been found to be present in the control. Sunny Mulwee's trainer Alexander Verhagen has been advised.

An Inquiry will be held to determine the reasons for the finding of the Pentobarbitone in the urine sample and the control on a date to be fixed.
