GRNSW Announces More In Store Inquiry

By GRNSW

Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) advises that it has received notification from the Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory of the presence of Propentofylline in the sample taken from More In Store after it won the Baby 700 Stakes at the Wentworth Park meeting on 25 April 2015.

The reserve portion of the sample was sent to Racing Analytical Services (VIC) and has been confirmed to contain the prohibited substance. More In Store's trainer Mark Gatt has been advised of the irregularity.

As the prohibited substance detected is a Category 5 substance under the GRNSW’s penalty guidelines the matter will be dealt with having regard to the protocols established under the guidelines.

GRNSW will provide further details once Mr Gatt has had an opportunity to make submissions regarding the irregularity of the sample.
