Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) has received confirmation from Racing Analytical Services Ltd, Victoria, of the presence of the permanently banned prohibited substance Recombinant Human Erythropoietin (EPO) in urine samples taken from Still Searchin’ after it won a New Sensation heat at Wentworth Park on 20 March 2015 and Down Every Road after it won a Magic Maiden semi final at Wentworth Park on 27 March 2015 and finished third in the Magic Maiden final at Wentworth Park on 4 April 2015.
Trainer Melinda Finn has been advised of the confirmations and that an inquiry will be conducted into the laboratory findings at the offices of GRNSW on Wednesday 22 July 2015, commencing at 12pm.
Due to the nature of the prohibited substance detected, Ms Finn’s registration as a trainer has been suspended under the provisions of Gar 92 (5) pending the determination of the inquiry.
