Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) Chief Executive Paul Newson will stage a stakeholder forum at Gunnedah Greyhound Club on Saturday, starting at 12.25pm.
At the forum, Mr Newson will provide an update in regard to the immediate GRNSW response to concerns around animal welfare and integrity affecting the sport, as well as an overview of the Special Commission of Inquiry into the NSW greyhound industry.
To ensure everyone is able to participate in the forum, trainers who have runners engaged in early races on Saturday will be given the opportunity to ask their questions to Mr Newson first.
Everyone who attends the forum is asked to act in a responsible manner. This includes respecting people's opinions and allowing all speakers to participate without interruption.
All attendees will also be asked to respect the chair of the forum, who will be independent of GRNSW.
