Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) advises that it has received notification from the Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory of the presence of caffeine and its metabolites in the sample taken from Sandave Spirit after it won the Gosford Signs Blitz Heat at Gosford on 5 September 2014.
Trainer Nathan Goodwin has been advised of the confirmation of the presence of the substances by the Racing Science Centre, Queensland, with the matter now proceeding having regard to the protocols established under GRNSW’s penalty guideline system.
