Here is your chance to help decide one of the titles at this year’s NSW Greyhound of the Year Awards – and win tickets and luxury accommodation for the night itself as well!

Voting is now open for the Run of the Year crown, one of the titles on offer at this year’s event.

Five of the best runs during 2014 have been shortlisted for the  honour, with a public vote deciding the winner.

Everyone who votes goes into the running to win a fantastic prize which includes two tickets to the 2014 NSW Greyhound of the Year Awards.

The event takes place at The Star entertainment venue at Pyrmont,  Sydney on 20 February and should be an unmissable night.

Also included in the prize is a night for two at The Darling Hotel, which is based nearby and offers luxury accommodation.

The winner also get the chance to present the Run of the Year award to the recipients on the night.

The five nominees for the 2014 Run of the Year crown are Shakey Jakey (April 6, Wentworth Park), Xylia Allen (April 12, Wentworth Park), Sweet It Is (April 19, Wentworth Park) Silent Effective (May 6, Gosford) and Winsome Jacko (October 23, Maitland).

Entries close at 4pm on Friday, January 29 and the winner will be drawn a day later.

To be eligible for the winning prize, voters must be a current member (free to join) of thedogs.com.au and only one vote per membership will be permitted.
