The Group 2 Country Motor Company Dapto Puppy Classic will be run next Thursday after bad weather forced the abandonment of Thursday night's meeting at the South Coast track.
Severe storms in the Illawarra area meant the meeting had to be called off before the running of the feature race, the $75,000-to-the-winner Classic.
The Dapto track was drenched after being lashed by heavy rain and driving winds this evening.
Other finals also washed out this evening will be run next Thursday.
