NSW Greyhound of the Year Awards Night

Are you ready to enjoy greyhound racing’s night of nights?

The countdown is on to this year’s NSW Greyhound of the Year awards, with another fantastic night in store.

This year’s event has an exciting new venue, with the awards taking place at The Star Event Centre at Pyrmont on Friday, 20 February 2015.

The centre is one of the most sought-after entertainment locations with state-of-the-art facilities in a modern day setting.

The awards night will once again be hosted by Ben Damon and will again feature some terrific entertainment.

Among the prestigious titles up for grabs will be 2014 NSW Greyhound, Race and Trainer of the Year awards.

The night will also recognise industry achievements across the board, including honouring the latest recipient of the Allen Wheeler Medal for lifetime achievement and service to the greyhound racing industry.

A number of other awards will be announced on the night, including titles for the 2014 NSW Trainer, Sprinter and Stayer of the Year.

Nominations are now open for the 2014 NSW Club, Volunteer and Young Person of the Year awards.

The NSW Young Person of the Year award is open to anyone under the age of 30 at 31 December 2014 and recognises the performance of a Young person showing outstanding potential in the training, breeding, administration and/or promotion of greyhound racing in NSW.

The NSW Volunteer of the Year award acknowledges an exceptional volunteer in NSW greyhound racing while the NSW Club of the Year award recognises outstanding achievement by a greyhound racing club.
