Dreaming Of A Win At Cannington

You Can Dream has the draw to end a frustrating run of results in the first race of the night over 530m at Cannington.

The Dennis Calleja-trained sprinter has finished out of the money at her past two starts, with many putting those results down to awkward draws.

Two starts back, You Can Dream started a $2.50 when she jumped from box eight in a 530m race at Cannington. But the daughter of Premier Fantasy could not cross in the early stages and finished well down the field.

Then last start, You Can Dream was simply out-paced jumping from box four and was never in the hunt in a race over the same track and distance.

On Saturday, however, You Can Dream will come right back into contention mainly due to her draw in box one from which she has won four times from seven starts.

Her biggest challenge appears to come from in-form chaser Night With Sally, who will start from box two.

Night With Sally is aiming for his fourth win in a row, and while his wins at Mandurah have been very impressive, he faces a steep rise in class on Saturday night.

If she is anywhere near best, You Can Dream should be able to hold out Night With Sally and notch up win number 12 for her career.

While You Can Dream can get punters off to a winning start, the highlight of the night at Cannington will once again be On Coin, who has returned from an injury enforced layoff in career best form.

On Coin added the Sandi’s Me Mum Memorial final to his ever expanding trophy cabinet last week, running down Star Recall to win by 3 ¾ lengths.

On Coin has now won four in a row since his return and barring a disaster should make it five in a row in race four.
