Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) stewards will commence an inquiry into analysts’ findings of a prohibited substance in the urine sample taken from Manyana Groper after that greyhound won Race 4 at the Wentworth Park GBOTA meeting on 11 January 2014. The inquiry will be conducted at the offices of GRNSW on Monday 28 April 2014.
Due to the particular circumstances of the case, acting under the provisions of Gar 92 (5) GRNSW has suspended the licence of trainer Sydney Swain pending the outcome of the inquiry.
