As a result of the abandoned meeting at Dapto on Thursday (3 April 2014) Greyhound Racing NSW and the Dapto Greyhound Club have made the decision to reopen nominations for the XXXX Gold Dapto Derby.
Due to scheduling issues the heats of the Dapto Derby can no longer be held and instead the race will be staged as a best 8 for male greyhounds only.
To assist those who nominated for the abandoned heats, the Dapto club will also stage a non-graded 520 metre race (the Hahn Super Dry Non-Graded) that will be worth $2,000 to the winner.
