Six heats of the Sportingbet/GBOTA Temora Cup (457m) will highlight a big 12 race Non-TAB program on Saturday afternoon.
Local GBOTA director Gary Smith said the club is ecstatic with the quality of the fields leading into the $10,000 to-the-winner final on Sunday, March 9.
"We are really over the moon with the meeting," he said.
"We have six quality and highly competitive fields for the Cup plus a great support program of racing."
Mark Wilcox will make the trip from Bringelly with Temora 457m track record holder Buster Shiraz and Group 3 Bulli Gold Cup placegetter Knocka's Return.
Buster Shiraz set the record of 26.09 when he took out last year's Temora Ex-Services Cup.
"Buster Shiraz could not have been any more impressive winning the Ex-Services Cup last year," Smith said.
"This year's Cup has attracted a good mix of up-and-coming dogs and experiences campaigners.
"Alan Pringle's dog My Kinda Music (heat one) is a very talented bitch and the clash with Buster Shiraz will be worth seeing.
"And Pantone Green is also in the first heat and he was a (Group 2) Gosford Cup finalist.
"Cee Ronaldo is a very smart Victorian dog in heat three and he will clash with Cosmic Prince who has been racing very well at Wagga.
"There doesn't really look to be a standout so we are expecting some very competitive racing.
"I think it will be an exceptional final on Sunday week."
