This document provides model constitutions for Public Companies limited by guarantee and incorporated associations that will assist in reviewing the club’s constitution and to ensure that it meets applicable legislative requirements. Clubs should also consider the information and guidance provided in the Governance Charter in making recommendations to amend the club’s constitution.

A2 Governance Charter

The Governance Charter is intended as comprehensive guidance to Clubs in the preparation of a Club governance charter. It provides reference material to use in conjunction with a club’s (updated) Constitution. The Charter will need to be adapted where it conflicts with the club Constitution.
