Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
At Richmond on Wednesday 24th April there is a 520m Pathways - worth $4,000 to the winner. The meeting will also feature 520m 1-2 Win Heats - leading to a $5,000 Non Penalty Final. There is extra prize money for all races, and all races over 622m & 722m will carry city-class prize money.
On Friday 26th April, it's time for the 715m Non Grade Ladbrokes 715 Heats at The Gardens! Be in it to get to the $500,000 Final the following week! There will also be 515m Maiden Heats, leading to a $5,000 Final.
Also on Friday, at Goulburn, there are 440m 5th Grade Heats ($5,000 Non Penalty Final) and there is extra prize money for graded races over 440m, and at Wentworth Park, there are 520m 5th Grade 1-4 Win Heats - leading to a $6,000 Non Penalty Final.
The highlight at Wentworth Park on Saturday 27th April will be the 520m Non Grade Ladies Bracelet and 520m Non Grade Bob Payne Sprint Heats - both with $25,000 Finals! Nowra on Saturday will see the Puppy Classic Final run, as well as a 630m Non Grade - worth $7,200 to the winner. Also on Saturday, at The Gardens, there are 515m 5th Grade 1-4 Win Heats ($5,000 Non Penalty Final) and 400m Masters Heats ($5,000 Final).
Grafton on Sunday 28th April will feature 450m 5th Grade 1-3 Win Heats, leading to a $2,700 Non Penalty Final.
At Richmond on Monday 29th April there are 320m Maiden Heats ($1,500 Final) and at Maitland, 400m 5th Grade Maximum 150 points Heats - with an $1,800 Non Penalty final - and also 450m 5th Grade Heats ($3,000 Non Penalty Final).
Finally, at Grafton on Tuesday 30th April, there are 350m 5th Grade 1-3 Win Heats - leading to a $2,200 Non Penalty Final.
